A/C control locking plug broke! Help!
2008 F150 FX2 Sport Supercab.
Hey guys I’m new to the forum, I have a problem with the connection for my a/c controls. The “locking” plug that goes into the controls broke and it now can’t lock it’s itself into place. If I hit the radio bezel trim too hard it’ll just pop out . I’m looking for the part number of the plug itself or an alternative method of fixing this. Thanks.

Not sure what your referencing, a pic would help.
But I think your talking about the connector harness on the back of the bezel? If it's not staying in place because of a broken tab or lock mechanism, I would personaly either ziptie it if possible or if not just use a hot glue gun and glue the connector in there. You can break hot glue off if you ever need to disconnect.

Thanks for the info redfish and reaper. Im pulling the bezel out multiple times a month because im doing some rewiring/rerouting of harness's to fit a larger audio and lighting systems. i was hoping there was a part # for the locking harness itself. I don't want to be gluing it back on every time but ill explore other options such as a plastic L bracket with velcro to remove and reattach it.
