Window switches are pretty simple to fix if you have some mechanical skill and patience pull the switch out. Gently pry the rocker switch out the use a small screwdriver to release the bottom off. Once you see the contacts spray with contact cleaner and if real dirty carefully sand the contact surfaces with 200 grit sandpaper then re spray with cleaner and reassemble

Why do you have to compromise? Lots of 4wd Screws out there. Me personally, I wouldn't have a truck without 4wd. But that's just me.

I'm guessing you're saying you have to choose due to the price. I had planned on spending about 13k on a 04-05 screw 4x4 or about the same on a 05-07 scab 4x4.

After a solid month of looking, and a half dozen good deals selling before I could get there, I finally found my truck. I originally found it on cars.com then looked up the dealer. I ended up also finding the truck listed on ebay with a buy it now $1,000K cheaper than the dealer had advertised. I called and offered him $500 (out the door) under that and told him I could come down to pick it up the next day. He agreed and I got myself into EXACTLY what I was looking for...only a 3yr newer model than I thought.

My point it, your deal is out there. I know it's hard, trust me, to be patient...but keep looking. I found NUMEROUS screw 4x4s 04+ that were in my price range (less than 14k). I wasn't afraid of mileage (mine has 114k on it), you just have to find one that was taken care of.

Good luck in your search buddy!
