Default Center Console

Hey all.. I'm 100 percent positive I'm not the only one dealing with this issue. 3rd ford in a row (of course I'm super happy) but the one major issue I keep running into is the center console! That dang rubber around the cupholder keeps coming up and I can't figure out how to fix it.

Suggestions??

I've attached a picture.. yes it's kinda gross to look at (might as well ask) what about the center console as a whole? Best way to clean the top material?
Thanks in advanced..

I have the same issue with my 2004 screw, I wish I could put the other console in mine.

Looks like a 3 year old lives in that interior......seems more than the cupholder/armrest needs attention. Who spills that much crap all over everything ? Do you use a spitoon or your seats when you spit out your chew??

Mine did the same, I removed it and replaced it with a piece of wood I shaped to match. I used some light texture black paint to coat it and used some black fabric paint on the console lid.

haha.. no, I purchased it that way. The guy was a marine. I don't chew! My first f150's interior was flawless.. since I bought it this way, I am searching for ways to clean it up.

I was embarrassed to show the pictures in the first place, but I bought it this way and I'm looking for ways to clean it up!
