Default Broken Headlight Tab

So you know that little tab on the back of the headlight with the metal clip looking thing that slides into a slit on the truck when you push the headlight in? Mine broke.. Now my headlight constantly moves and knocks my headlight out of alignment so I'm either blinding people or staring at the ground immediately in front of me. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? I honestly can't think of anything.

When it happened to me, I superglued it back together. Worked until the next time I pulled the headlight out. Then I would glue it again. That and make sure the bolts are nice and tight. Helps with the movement.

The other 2 bolts arent enough to hold it secure?..maybe some wire and a drill..drill a small hole somewhere on the back side of the light on one of the "ribs" and wire it back securely.

Nono. It's the other thing near the bottom of the headlight. It's a flat piece of plastic with a metal clip around it that holds the bottom portion of the still. I'll try and get a picture of my other headlights clip

That thing. An the only reason I haven't glued it on is because I have no idea where it is. Lol.

My drill advice stands..lol..drill thru that black plastic "nub"..run a wire thru it and tighten it back in the engine bay somewhere.

Make the hole the same size as the wire and drill the hole near the back of the nub..towards the housing to give as much "meat" in front of the wire as possible..Kinda Redneck..but just may work

I was gonna order new headlights off of eBay so I could swap out my ****ty lenses for the new ones cause I hate having fancy retrofitted lights with scratched up lenses. I guess I'll just swap everything over to one of the new housings when I get them but this should work for the mean time. Thanks man!
