Broken brakeline or 4x4 lines on 04 f150 5.4?
What am i dealing with here? . Before attempting to do anything I want to get positive ID on the line that is broken. What do you guys think?

That shouldn't be hard to find out. Anything with the tran has red fluid. Brake lines have clear fluid. Follow the line. Assuming it's a steel or aluminum line. They are not hard to make. The tools are loaned at auto zone.

If your brakes don’t work, it’s a brake line. They are hard lines. If it’s belching fluid just at idle, Trans cooler line. Attached to the power steering pump or rack...power steering line, which also uses ATF.
