humming noise when the wheel is turned to the right

All the way to the right, or just turning right? If it hard over to the right, that would be the power steering, and it's pretty normal.

The humming starts as I turn the steering slightly to the right,as I am driving. As long as I am going straight, it does not hum. I had new rotors installed in November 2017. could it be bad bearings?

Possible it's a wheel bearing going out...power steering noises should happen turning in either direction you'd think...if your turning right and hearing the noise, it's possibly your driver side bearing...although bearings typically make a hollowing or grinding noise that gets worse turning the opposite direction of the bad bearing...but then again yours might just be starting to fail and just has a humming noise, idk...if it get's louder and more "grindy" or scrapey even while driving straight that get's noticeably louder turning right, then it's a safe bet your driver side bearing is shot...just replaced one on my 08 couple months ago, fairly easy to do....
If it turns out not being a bearing, have a look at your tires...

If its a 4x4 replace the hubs, pretty cheap on line. Mine did the same..only when putting pressure on the steering wheel driving..changed both sides, and no more humming.
