Default Brighter headlights

Hey guys! I wanting to upgrade my factory bulbs to something brighter without the expense of going HID. I've read mixed reviews on Putco and Sylvania but don't know which way to go. Wondering what you all think.

my hid kit for my truck with high/lows (which high beams do not make a difference at all) was $60 before shipping. you can get the kit without the high beam for $40 +shipping.

Really!! I thought HID kits were very expensive. What brand is yours and where did you buy it?

I got my HID's for 70 bucks for bulbs and ballast. So my headlights aren't projectors and despite what anyone says they are pretty damn night but I have mine tilted down to where it isn't that bad. I put up a thread with pics about the install.
Search for H13 HID conversion kit

Real HID retrofit kits are expensive. The illegal HID conversions are cheap. And yes according to DOT regulations the kits are not approved for the most part. Look into Phillps extreme bulbs for a good halogen, and then look into upgraded fog lights if you need more on the low beam side.
