Default I like my ride again

Spent some money on my ride and I like my truck again!
New lower *****
New upper control arms
New serpentine belt and 3 bearings in pulleys
New front brakes
And last but not least did the Gotts mod.
Now the next mod is an exhaust system. Any suggestions for the 4.6L ?

That's outstanding! I just did my upper and lower control arms; outer tie rods all moog; replaced struts and shocks with Rancho quick lifts on front and RS999287 on back; also all new brakes. Once I got it aligned it runs new. Congrats on the work. It certainly makes a huge difference.

The exhaust set up I have is a 40 series flow master muffler and it compliments my 4.6 very nicely.

Cool. For your exhaust is it just the muffler you did or did you do a cat back set up? I'm curious about it being worth doing the whole system or just the muffler

Did a cat back 2.5" in/out. I have a buddy of mine who has a pipe bender in his shop and charged me $150 installed. I chose to tuck the tail pipe, right before the rear bumper (its not visible).

Nice!!!! I have a limited budget and no shop. All the other repairs I just done set me back $1000 with the alignment. And most of the muffler shops near me want waaaaay too much for a complete system. So I'm thinking of just a muffler for a deeper growl when I get on the throttle.

I've been thinking about getting my upper and lowers done.

Ballin. I have just over 73,000 miles on mine. But I'm up in Canada where our roads aren't very smooth lol. And I'm off road quite a bit over the summer months "exploring" with my sons. And of course the best hunting spots are far from the main roads lol

That is very true! Texas does have a lot of dirt roads as well but I don't go off road as much as I want to.

The best money you can spend is for a tuner. I have an Edge Evo on my 4.6 and it made a major difference.

I run a Gotts with a Flowmaster 44 mid-dumped, sounds great and 17mpg on my 4.6 Supercab. Ive been thinking about getting the suspension work done, but the truck still rides and wears evenly at 94000 miles.

For me, a Pioneer FH-X700BT stereo and the associated Bluetooth function really restored the love. The next is fluid replacement, an Edge and suspension work.

Hows the Edge on the 4.6, and whats the cost for ours?
