Default Need Some Help

Hey everyone,

I joined the forum back in 2013 when I turned 16 and bought a slick 2004 FX4 that was my grandpa's. I put a 2" leveling kit on the front and mud tires on and ran with it all through high school. Fast-forward four years and the truck is still running strong with 143k miles. But, I am kinda tired of the old look and it needs some updating.

Here's what I will be doing:
-Rustoleum bed liner on the rocker panels, bumpers and the factory fender trim
-3" Motofab rear blocks
-Fia LeatherLite Seat Covers
-Mickey Thompson Classic III 17x9 Wheels

The only thing that I am unsure about are the rims. Those rims are 17x9 with a 5" backspacing and the MT website says 0 offset. I have read many other threads on the backspacing and offsets, but can't seem to find one that I understand. I like the look of the Classic III but I do not want my wheels and tires to stick too far outside of the fenders. Does anyone have pictures of a rim that is the same specs as the Classic III? If anyone has this size rim, how much does the tire stick out from the fender and what size tire would be best to fill up the wheel well without rubbing?

If you guys have any other input on the other planned updates, let me hear them! I am always open to other ideas!

Thanks!
