I was on here two weeks ago. I have an 06 F150 4.6. The abs light came on. I took it to the garage and they said it was the rear wheel sensor. After asking about it on here, I checked the wiring and connections. All looked to be in great shape. However before I pulled the connections (at the rear and at the master cylinder) the light would only come on after driving a mile or two. After pulling them it comes on when I start it and it stays on. I ordered a new sensor from Rock auto, it came today and after replaceing it nothing...the light is still on. Is this the type of light that I have to take to a garage and reset? I tried unhooking the battery, but it didnt help. Im about to tear the ligt out of the dash!! Help please!!

Probably just need to clear the trouble code. If you don't have a code reader, go to an autozone or other parts place, and they should be able to clear them for free.

Thanks I was hoping it is something like that. I have yet to have any problems when the light is on, so i cant tell if i fixed it or not.
