I changed calipers, rotors and pads. One caliper 'stuck' and got the rotor really hot. With over 80k miles I changed everything.

Using premium Napa rotors, reman calipers and Adaptive one pads things are not 'rosy'. After a substantial breakin period these pads just do not have a good feel. Takes a lot more pedal pressure for normal stops and it is impossible to lock a wheel or even activate the ABS. Acts like a very low friction coefficient. After 1500 miles, I am replacing the Adaptive one pads hoping to regain braking power.

I did Hawk LTS pads and raybestos heavy duty rotors.

To clean, you can use simple green, dawn dish soap, brake parts cleaner, etc.

I use these:

Along with a stiff brush. Let the wheels soak good. Use a good tire conditioner when your done, you don't want to dry out your rubber.

Update:

I ended up using the Adaptec One pads and Adaptec One rotors front and rear and I have got to tell you I am very happy. I have put about 7,000 miles on them to this point. The truck stops very nice, at high speeds with no fade... and I tend to have a heavy right foot. Also noticed a huge improvement with a full load (passengers and gear). And my favorite part, NO brake dust at all! I would definitely recommend this combo to anyone.
