tail light guards?
anybody use these on their truck? I am thinking about ordering some but do not know which ones would be better. If anybody has any expirience with them let me know. These are links to the 2 brands i am considering:

I bought a pair for my truck (Westin), and they are a pain to even attempt putting on. The angles are weird, the two bolts aren't even close to where its possible to screw it in without a very long screw/bolt. On top of that I can already tell (tested when slightly matched up) that my tailgate won't be able to shut, unless scratching while doing so. Also, the guard pushes the light outward, creating a semi-large gap stretching across the body line of the taillight. Overall, the whole taillight guard thing has been interesting/sketchy, maybe its the pair of guards that I got, but until I see a picture of the Westin ones on an 04-08 F-150 I won't be convinced that these guards aren't any good.
PS: I'll try to post some pictures of the project that never was, later...
