Brake booster vacuum hose recall?

As far as i know and when i asked my dealership what years this recall included(i have an 06)it was from 04-08,all models of ther f-150 he told me including the marks.
Funny thing is,i guess allot of ppl have finally been getting the recall notices.I had mine done 2 weeks after i got my truck back in march of 08.My dealership told me about the recall when i brought in my truck cause of the grinding from the hubs when it would try to go into 4wd.Allot of dealerships had the recall on file but never called or sent out notices of the recall and that leads me to belive they either wanted to wait untill a customers truck starting haveing the recall problems,or just didnt want to do the work cause they wouldnt make any money on it.My opinion anyways and we all now how honest dealerships are ya'll,lol

I am having trouble with my 1997 f 150 2 wheel drive. brakes grinding peddle went to the floor an almost rear ended someone. does not do it all the time but it feels like the break pads are wet. but no leaking fluids are visible. replaced master cylinder and pads old owner said he replaced the booster. not sure whats going on any ideas ????
