Are 2 wheel drive struts shorter than 4x4??
Keep hearing people say that the 2 wheel struts are around an inch shorter than the 4x4 struts.
I'm going to be putting the Belltech 25001 on a 07 4x4 want a subtle drop 2 inches I heard that they are the length of a 2 wheel strut and when people have installed them on a 4x4 at the 2' setting that get 3' drop there has to be someone who knows....please any help would be appreciated !

Yep, 2wd struts are shorter than 4wd struts. I'm not sure of an exact difference, I've seen people say anything from 1 to 2 inches. The subframe where the lower control arms connect on the 4wd trucks sit lower than the 2wds so they need the longer struts to reach the upper mounts. Hope this helps!
