Default Bottoming Out Solution

I have a 2004 Lariat lowered 3"/5" The problem is that it bottoms out real bad in the rear whenever there's stuff in the bed or passangers in the rear. I'm eventually going to get Accuair air ride, but I need something for the mean time that wont break the bank. I was thinking something like air shocks, but I don't know what brands are good. Anybody use those, or something else, to prevent bottoming out?

just another great reason to not make a truck useless by lowering it but I would get a set of air bags that have valves where you can just fill them up to any pressure with a compressor so you don't need a compressor on the truck very reasonable

Was talking with a friend who lowered his truck and went the air bag route. He is satisfied with the set up.
