Default Bored and some tailgate plastidip

First off my tailgate is fairly beat up, so I tried this to cover up some of the smaller dents. Anyone know how long the plastidip lasts on painted surfaces? I have seen it lasts fairly long on wheels, but curious about on the painted surfaces.

From what I have seen and heard it lasts a long time. There are guys out there who have done their entire car and or truck. At the same time it depends how many coats you put on.

That's pretty cool, but I would've masked off the Ford emblem.

All I know is I'm going to look into Plastidip stock. After all you people plastidipping everything their stock price has to be through the roof.

That emblem has been spray painted black even before the plastidip. I did all my emblems with flat black spray paint before I ever knew about plastidip. It may have cost one dollar to do this so I was okay with trying it out on the painted surface. I want to line x my rockers, so I may plastidip them to see if I really like it enough to spend the money.

Indeed, but it showed really well before this so whatever. I just missed a hundred dollar matching tailgate just after I bought the truck off craigslist. Damn it. Not worth 400 for a new one as I use the truck as a truck so don't need it perfect.
