Talking about motors I recently dropped a valve and had to replace a head. We took the whole motor out honed cylinder walls put all new gaskets on put motor back together and had it back running in 13hrs with standard motor lift no special tools but I'm just saying it would be almost nearly impossible to do a body lift this fast on this trucks you are probably the only one who has ever done it this fast is it a reg cab or crew
extended cab, i wish i still had the before and after pictures as they were time stamped but i have no idea where i saved them. and i just cant see 17 hrs, i dunno i know i have a fair amount of experience with these trucks so maybe thats why i cant see it taking it that long. i mean i can pull the cab completely off my truck 02f150 fx4 4door in just at 3 hours and this is alot more work than a body lift, minus the bumper part.. that took me the longest. it was alos on a v6 so i had to fab up a bracket for the trans shift linkage. i dunno maybe im on crack and cant tell time but next one i do i will log ever second i work on it and take time stamped pictures. I actually ha to call a buddy of mine who does alot of lifts in his drive way and he told me they take him about 8 hrs in his drive way, but granted hes better faster and far more experienced than i am with these..

We finished the lift in 2 8 hour days. We easily could have finished it in 12 hours if we didn't have to keep going back and forth to the shop for tools, running to get dinner/beers, and knew a few things like how to get the seat out and that you can lift the cab before taking the bolts out.
