Default Body lift install

Going to start with the install of my body lift Wednesday and was wondering how long you think it will take. I'm going to have 2 friends helping me that have done multiple body lift installs but never on a ford, which I heard is really time consuming.

Yeah I would guess, 2 days tops. Just depends on how early you start and end on Day 1. If you have read up on the instructions before hand, and start early morning Id say Day 2 would be short and sweet! Good luck keep updated and show pics. Where did you buy your kit?

We planned on it taking about 2 8 hour days. It sucks though bc the days are a week apart so I'll be without my truck for a week.

I have done one body lift and will prolly be the only one that ill ever do haha. Its not bad just takes time, just please make sure you do a parts check, make sure you have all the parts for the lift and things needed. The one I did, one of the bolts we needed for the fame to cab part wasn't threaded. So we had to make do untill we got what we needed. To save time just actually read the directions through, maybe twice, and do a part check, Itll save you time. We started our project at about 7pm, and finished about 11 am the next morning. Me and two friends. From about 9-3 all of our friends were there so prolly could of knocked it out by 9 that morning ish

We've all read over The directions a couple times each so we have a general idea about what we need to do.

Doing a body lift to your truck? Didn't you just get a 6" lift?
