Can someone tell me what is a bumper cover? A valance? Im looking at these body kits and I have no idea what the H Im looking at. Please explain.

Yeah a front lower valance is a ground effects piece for the front bumper.

 

bumper cover = plastic piece covering where your bumper is located
Valence = panel just below bumper

 

So does the bumper cover replace the bumper or just go over it or "cover" it? And thanks for the replies.

 

bumper cover basically goes over bumper to cover it

 

I was looking at the Roush body kit and one by Street Scenes. I want it to be simple and not too gaudy. This seems like a stupid line of questions, its just that like you said different websites call body parts different things. What is the plastic piece above the bumper? I need to get a PTM one mine is the ugly black textured one. So a bumper cover will completely replace the chrome bumper up front right?

 

just a thought... take a look at the ford f150 fx2 front pieces.... they are nice and are very close to roush...... take a look at my pics for more eye candy...

Yeah the FX2 was what inspired me to look at body kits in the first place. And it does look like Roush even the grill. So where could I get these replacement parts without having to go to the stealership? TIA
