Here is a pic of my truck, it's an FX4 though so the whole thing is black and blue, black wheels, black interior, etc. I plan on tinting the windows to match and replacing the bed sticker with an all black sticker.

Realize its not blue, but it is an 06 xlt that had Chrome bumpers and sidesteps. I painted the bumpers with rustoleum spray bedliner. Also painted the sidesteps, emblems and headlights. No chrome, had 22 inch chrome rims on my old truck and wanted to go a different direction on this truck. Old was 2wd as well. Have since taken the sidesteps off to give it a cleaner look.

Here is my 04 XLT. I hate chrome so I'm trying to get rid of it as well. Plus I like the look of the blue truck with black accents.
The bumpers were originally chrome and I sprayed them with bedliner.
I painted the tail lights and third brake light with Niteshades and I sprayed the F-150 emblems with Niteshades as well and i really like the look. When the light hits them the chrome part looks the same color blue as the truck (see middle picture).
Next step for me is black wheels and black headlights.

Nice. I've been thinking about doing the niteshade third brake light and fog lights. Can u still see out of the lights well? Are they still pretty bright? That's about the only thing holding me up right now.

i like what yall have done to yallls trucks, everyone where i live either has white black or red trucks with black accents and i was trying to see if doing the same wouldnt work well. i want to take out all the chrome, do the headlight housings and tail lights black. paint the bottom skirt, and bumpers black. i have this kind of tan accent on the bottom panel and i think black all around the bottom perimeter would look awesome, also taking off the f150 emblems and getting the lettering at an auto parts warehouse and painting it black. the rims look awesome and the bumpers, its nice to see other trucks like mine with black accent colors
