Default Blower Fan

I did a search for this and couldnt find anything so here goes....Just recently, the blower in my dash of my 04 screw has started making a "rattling" noise, like maybe it could be loose? It only did it on level 4 but now has started doing it on 3 and 4. Anyone know whats up? Any info is appreciated, thanks in advance!!

Suppose it could be any of many things - but had an occurence on another vehicle where the plastic of the blower impeller failed in the area of the motor shaft - essentially, it partially stripped out. Air was still moving, just sounded gawd-awful.

could be a blower motor relay or sensor. Also something could be stuck inside the blower like leaves for instance. I had this happen on another vehicle I had. It sounded just like you described.

JSS - considering this original thread posting is approaching 2 years old - perhaps post it as a new thread?

At any rate, suggest the need to inspect the blower assembly.
