lived in upstate ny most of my life and never had one on any of our cars. just went out and started it up about an hour before i had to leave if it was 20 or below

Minus 30 here with the windchill. I was so thankful for a block heater. The truck still squealed when she started and the motor seemed to struggle to come to life.

Still took 10 minutes for the heat gauge to even think of moving off the cold mark.

Thank goodness for heated seats.

Bring on Spring..... I have had enough winter already
