Might be hanging somewhere behind the front bumper. I think mine is near the center, maybe a bit towards the drivers side.

The block heater is located around the starter if you had one and alot of times the cords are tied up by them. That's where my was

Cords are tied up close to where the heater is if they never got run out since bought new. I mine ran down to by the tow hooks. And to the guy that thought they only come on deisels, wtf? Have u never lived in a cold area? I have mine plugged into a timer every night so it turns on at 5 am so it's warm enough by 9 or 10 when I leave for school. Then I still start it and let it run 10 mins before I drive it. Gas is much cheaper than new trannys and engines.

Where does one get a good block heater for a 150? Not that I live in an extreme cold state, but it takes about 20 mins for my truck to produce heat and I rarely have time or patients to wait for my truck to warm up.

^dealer or any parts store. There really isn't any difference between where you get them from, a block heater is a block heater. I'll plug mine in when it gets below zero and let it run for 8-10 mins in the morning and when i go out the temp gauge is usually up to 1/8 to 1/4. Takes longer when it gets to the -10, -20 temps obviously. Only time mine ever takes 20 mins to warm up is if it sits outside overnight in the -40+ wind chills.
