Default Blackout complete

Well finally pretty much finished the blackout. Light coat of vht night shades over the fogs and tails. Never used the fogs anyways. Little heavier coat on the third brake light. Recovered the bumpers with undercoat. Only thing left is to put on new headlights when they come in this week. Stock painted ones have hairline cracks from heating too long when getting them to pry apart. Let me know what you think.

It's an ebay cutout one. The cutout part was a pain.

There is a how to on how to do it somewhere around here. Basically warm them in the oven by preheating to 300, turn it off, set them in for ten minutes and hope they are able to be pried apart and paint the chrome part. Mine got hairline cracks as I had to heat them 3 or 4 times. Paid 80 for some on ebay that will be in soon. Will look almost identical. My silicone job was kind of crappy as well.

Most people look at trucks from a distance. I screwed up my tail lights tinting em and they look horrid up close but further away they look good.

True. Well I got lucky at work and got an unexpected bonus, so I wanted to have something to show for it.
