Retrofitting isn't just HIDs in the stock housing. It also has a projector but a much better one than the eBay ones. It uses your stock headlight housing.

I just read the thread there:
http://www.f150online.com/forums/200...-retrofit.html

this is a long process and kind of expensive
I'm worried about precision jobs as I am the kind of the impatient person and tend to break things if it resists lol

I think the eBay solution is better for me as at this point I just want to improve the look, I'm already really satisfied switching from stock light bulbs to HID 35W but paying another $400 + probably 10-15hours of my time for more powerful bulbs I don't really see a benefit for me

which of the 2 design would you get? the clear eBay lens or the smoke one? the smoked one is so much more expensive

I am using the first set. I like them so far the light iutput is good and I think they look cool. I do not like the taillights that are in that picture. I bought my headlights separate from the tails. The tails are ordered just waiting to receive them. Ill post a picture after work

Thanks looks good man. I'm thinking of tinting mine and I have the ZXE bulbs so it might shine brighter than stock bulbs.
