Default Black Headlight assemblies

Some time back, I bought a pair of black "Harley style" headlights for my 2005. I paid about $130.00 (including shipping). Obvoiusly, these were not the "real thing". After about two weeks, they began to fog. I removed them and gave them away.

So, I want to buy a set of black type (Harley) headlights; no halo, no projector style. Can anyone recommend a vendor that they have used where they did not fog up after a few weeks?

I want to keep my stock headlight buckets, so doing the "oven trick" and painting my one is not an option.

I'm in the same boat as you Bucko. That's why I haven't bought the knock-offs on eBay yet. Every now and then I'll see a genuine set on Craigslist but I can't bring myself to pay the $300-450 they want...

yea if you just run some silicone around the seam then that should clear everything up for you.

I too have resealed my passenger side twice now. Its still cheaper than buying a OEM set, and looks the same (atleast when the fogging inside isnt an issue).
