mine is black too, theres just some things in there that arent black such as the hood latch, some small dings in the radiator etc. all in all everything is pretty black, but I think if it were a darker black it wouldnt stand out as much

I think Im going to need to go over my radiator and a few other things behind the grill with some black paint because the grill is pretty see through, thats the only bad part. Other than that I like it
Here are a few pics for now until I can get some better quality pics....

where did you get that grille , that thing is nice..

I just bought a black billet grill for my 2010 and have the same issue, love the grill, hate that you can see through it to everything behind it. It's driving me nuts!

Ya it drove me nuts too, but I did find that by mounting the Ford emblem back onto the front of the grill it takes the attention away from behind the grill....check out pics of my truck in my garage to see what Im talking about

looks good but now you need a black emblem instead of the bright blue one.

I'm trying different ideas too. I added the stock grill that I cut out in behind the new one. I think it looks better, but still not to happy about it.

Take the stock grill out from behind it, I think that makes it look like a cheaply done layover grill...and Im tellin ya, put your emblem back on the front of the grill it makes a world of difference.

I've thought about it....but the Blue Oval is the Ford icon....gotta show the pride I may still change it up in the future.

I would actually like to get some billet letters made that say FORD that I can put across the front grill. Kind of like how the Raptor grill looks, but using billet letters, maybe powder coated charcoal gray.
