Default Bilstein 5100s

Hey guys,

My 04 Lariat SCREW is in need of some new suspension. I have been wanting to get a RCX 4 inch lift and am wondering if I should wait to get the lift, and then the 4-6 inch lift 5100s for the RCD lift kit. Or just get the regular 5100s.
The regular 5100s would work better as I can replace my shocks now without having to wait to do the lift, and in the process level my truck at the same time.
But if I'd be better waiting, then so be it.

Thanks in advance for the advice!

I like my 5100's. If you're going to put them on anyways, I don't see why not in going ahead and throwing them on there now. Heck, you may even like the way it sits after the 5100s and see no reason to throw on the RCX. I doubt the regular rear 5100 will fit with the RCX lift but the front should be fine if that RCX utilizes a large spacer on top of the strut.

If you raise the front now with the bilsteins you’ll need an alignment. Then you’ll be doing it again wit the lift.

And like Nathan said.. you will still have a big spacer with the rcx kit .. even though your leveled with the 5100’s.
