BFG TA KO or Terra Grappler G2?
Im trying to decide which tire to get in 275x70x18, any suggestions?
|
Meh... They are both good tires. That's why everyone and their mom has them. G2 has a warranty right now KO2 might have it later. G2 would be cheaper I would think off the top of my head.
I say G2 based on that alone. You won't be disappointed with either. |
...or buy USA, Cooper AT3? Still cheaper than the BFG (which is what I used to always buy).

cooper is no longer an American owned company...

I'm getting the cooper st maxx in that same size. Seems like a pretty solid tire.

I would go k02.

Ko2's have never let me down, on 2d set. Wear great, quiet/smooth ride. A litle more money but its worth it. Were at are you in Florida?

I have been running the Toyo Open Country in the same size they have a 60k mile warranty on them.
They cost right at a grand to have them put on the truck for the set |

that's nice to know. I always thought if I bought some big name brand tires it would be a waste of money having to replace them in 20-30k miles. Now I can start gearing up to get a nice set of toyos. Do you by chance know if they apply that same warranty to the m/ts as well?

Just go for the BFG's, they're 80,000 mile tires... and they are so purdy... lol I won't get anything else... And the way I see it, I probably won't have to ever replace them because I probably won't have the truck long enough to wear them out. 80 k would take me like 6 years lol...

If they lasted that long they would have a mileage warranty. I would expect 50k miles out of the KO2 unless they come out with a mileage warranty that says differently. You are doing good to get over 50k on any AT. |

They definitely aren't 80k mile tires. Not even Michelin's MS2 has a warranty that high.

100k? Pretty unheard of.

I put 65k on this set, which included working on the rail road for a year in Texas driving on the rail beds. Saved one for a spare just in case, still has some

Not talking warranty, just proven results... I put damn near 100k miles on my last set that I sold with the truck and still had some tread left... and there are tons of reviews of people out there that get even more than that...
