I have 53K on my set of KM2's and still have tread left...trying to wear them out...have a set of Nitto trails in the garage waiting to go on... rotate every 5K with oil change...

As far as the level I haven't installed a spacer. I installed Quicklift strut assemblies. It's a longer strut and spring so same concept. I don't think you can get away with leaving it partially attached though.
Jack the truck up and remove the tire
Remove the 3 nuts surrounding the central one
Put jackstands under the frame of the truck and remove the jack (assuming you lifted from the lower control arm) this puts the suspension to full droop giving you room to work.
Remove lower bolt from control arm and remove strut
Bolt spacer to the strut assembly then put it back in reverse of how you took it out.
I installed my struts this way.

Ended up picking them up for $300. Weren't quite in as good of shape and I was hoping. Hopefully they will last a while. Two different sets of wheels though! 3 of one kind and 1 of another! No big deal though.. What do you guys think of the tread life? All used mud tires to me look like they're almost bald... Lol

Hard to tell from the pics, but they do look at least $300 worth! There's a line that runs around the tire between the treads. When the tread is even with that line, it's time to replace the tires. You might be able to judge how much life is left by that. The ones I ran would wear down extremely slow, so you may have more life than it seems. Seems like a good deal to me though!
