Default Best Transmission

I've decided that instead of rebuilding my transmission, I will just be getting a new one all together. My question is, what is the best one so that I don't have to worry about any problems in the future aside from normal wear and tear. I've heard good things about Jasper, but that is all I have really come across.

Thanks

If I was to buy a remanned it would be a Jasper. Buffy of mine has installed a bunch and only had one comebback for a solenoid issue.

Do you not what the difference is between the Jasper and a Ford is? I've heard that the Jaspers are more updated, but that is about all.

Monster trans. Get a heavy duty trans that will do better with your bigger tires.

I already talked to Ivan about those and he told me that you need to have one of there authorized dealers install the tranny or they will not keep the warranty on it.

Yeah that is true, but so far I've never heard of one failing prematurely so I was just gunna install it myself and not worry about the warranty. All trans companies try to get out of doing warranty work anyways.

True, I could talk to the dealership by my house and see if they would give me like a 1 year on it just in case. I need the transmission sooner than later though and don't want to wait 2-3 weeks to get it you know?

I just had mine rebuilt. I droped the truck off Tuesday and got it back today. Comes with a 12 month/12,000 mile warrenty. Buest upgrade for the 4R75E's is a shift kit for the valvebody.... Fixs a lot of issuse that these trans have...... Or you can go with a 4R100 found in the 5.4L F-250's....... Some 97-03 f-150's got them as a factory upgrade.

The service guy told me that they are giving me the fleet rate for the repairs so it will save me a couple hundred. It's $2250 for a rebuild with a 2 year, 25,000 mile warranty or I can get a new tranny for $3125 with a 3 year, unlimited mileage warranty.
