Default Edge programmer?

So I have been looking at getting a edge programmer, either the cs or cts. So far as I can tell the only difference between the 2 is that cts is touch screen. My question is there any advantages to the CS version? Thanks

The cs doesnt need ana extra adapter to fit into the dash pod and is cheaper. I just found an edge cs for 200$. Definitely wakes our trucks up it turns into a beast

do it for sure! best thing you could ever do for this truck.

between the cs and cts, there is no difference in programming I believe. The only difference is the larger touch screen. I happened to find a used cts on ebay for 200. Just awesome!Either way get one or the other. It really is like a new truck.

I have 2 buddies with f150's same year. They both drove my truck and could not believe how much difference there is. I am running the premium tune with is something like 30-35HP and 45-50ft-lbs of torque. That is great, but the biggest thing is how it controls the transmission and just the overall drivability of the truck. 1000% better.

CS = Color Screen, CTS = Color Touch Screen.

Tunes and options are same, only difference really is the screen.

CS will do the same job as the CTS.

If I got the CS version, would also take into account for an aftermarket exhaust? Also could I get a custom tune from PHP on the CS?

CS and CTS are not able to be rewritten like the old Evolution.

Most EDGE tuners dont have settings for aftermarket performance parts ( varies from vehicle and year/engine ) as they are designed primary for stock trucks.

Although if you are just talking about a catback exhaust and not a full long tube header, OR midpipe to catback, wont matter much for something simple like that.

i have the roush off-road exhaust( I haven't installed it yet), I shouldn't have any problems with this exhaust and programmer together, should I ?

You shouldnt have any issues with it if it is a catback exhaust set up which I am willing to bet it is. Now if later on down the road you decide to get say headers coupled with that exhaust and a CAI, your going to want to have custom tuning which you cant do with the CS or the CTS. If you are set on an Edge tuner, get an evolution programmer and have PHP gryphonize it.

Is there any other tuners y'all would recommend for our trucks that would work great with an aftermarket exhaust. I'm open to custom tunes, pros/cons?
