Unhappy Mirror Replacement with Turn Signal

I recently bought a 2008 F150 XLT truck with mirrors that do not have turn signals in them. I then purchased a set of mirrors off of a 2007 king ranch that do have turn signals in them. After swapping the mirrors out, the drivers side mirror turn signal works perfectly while the passenger side does not. I have even got an extra passenger side mirror that I have tried and it does not work either. Any ideas?

I have heard this may be a programming issue but when calling the local ford dealership that did not think it would be in the programming?

ive made that swap on an 08 xl (to even newer mirrors) and it was plug and play. My first guess would be a wiring problem. See what others say, but I would start by inspecting the wires that go to/through the door and look for breakage.

Check the door side harness for damage?

It wouldn’t be the first time in this body that wires pinch themselves broken.

A multimeter to the plug with the hazards blinking to find signs of life is a good start.

They should plug and play. No fancy modules involved.
