Default Best and easiest way to level an '06?

Just bought an '06 Lariat 4x4. What is the easiest and best way to level it? My '97 had the torsion bars and a few minutes with a socket wrench leveled it out. I don't see any torsion bars on this one.

Best place to start is to use the search function or the stickies on top of the forum to find your answer. Lots of good info out there.

Im with ya on this, on my old 2000 scab I just tightened the torsion bars to level her out. No torsion bars on these trucks anymore. I opted for a 2.5 spacer and it leveled out my 06 fx4 perfectly. There are strut assemblies available also that will level your truck. Gone are the days of a "free" level

Yeah the torsion bars made so easy. Where do you put the spacers?

The spacers go above the strut/spring assy. I put aTough Country 2" kit in mine, and it actually lifted it 2.5" which was just right. I had it installed at a local tire & alignment shop. I think it was about 350 or 400 dollars out the door. That included the required realignment.

DONT DO LEVELING SPACERS!
This may seem like the best way to do it because of the price but in the end it will cost you more. Leveling spacers cause a lot of stress to the shocks and can ruin them in the long run. The best and cheapest way to do it are the Bilstein Leveling Shocks.

I just researched these and you're right. This would be the way to go. The price is a push and the engineering is superior. Do you keep your original coils and reinstall them on the new struts? I think I may even ditch my pucks and install these instead. Probably make a nice improvement in ride quality with the strut upgrade.
