Interesting. I replaced phasers & solenoids for the first time earlier this year at 171k on my 08.

Not all 08’s have the newer motor.. got to check the engine build date ( not truck build date). If it’s after 10/9/07 it’s the newer design.

Anything before 04. I know I'm being a smart a** but my 99 5.4 had zero issues with over 250 k miles
