Exclamation Bent Frame!!! Front section.

this past weekend i was driving home at night and swerved to miss a deer and smacked a telephone pole on my front right side. Took it to auto shop and they told me the front section of the frame was bent, before that i was already at $11,000 in damage. Im writing this to see if anyone else has had experiance with having any sections (prefferably the front) of their frames replaced. Just want to know how my truck will turn out after everything if they dont total it! thanks.

I was parked on the street, and a car backed into me hitting the driver side front bumper. They said the frame was slightly bent, I took it in and they fixed it back up and reinforced it with a few different pieces. It drives like it did before hand, and you would never know it happened. Hope that helps.

dude, you hit a telephone pole. That 11k figure is both teh labor and cost of the frame straightener. If you get part of it replace, you will still have to have the front end taken apart and put on the machine to ensure symmetry. Call your insurance people.

I got T-boned a year ago, same thing front half of my frame was bent 12k in damage. They repaired it and it drives like new. Haven't had any problems with it at all or tires wearing funny. You should be fine as long as the shop doing the work is good.
