bed tonneau cover help

Does anyone know if there is a tonneau cover made for our trucks if they have bed rails along the side. Or do you have to take the bed rails off?

Thanks

Are you talking about the chrome aftermarket rails like this?

Ive seen some soft tonneau covers that seem narrow and just cover the bed opening without going to the edges of the bed. Im not sure who makes those.

Not Extang.

Then theres the retractable hard covers that just cover the opening. One of those should work as well.

yes the rails are like the one in the picture..

I have looked at some but no luck yet

Im not interested in retractable purely for the price if I'm gonna drop 700-1200 dollars it's definately not going to be a bed cover

Yes, there are covers that fit to the "inner" portion of the bed side rails, so you'd be in luck. Go to "autoanything.com" and check them out. Or, pick up the latest copy of Truckin' magazine and look at there hundreds of advertisements (about 20 pages of tech, the rest is advertisements). You'll see pictures ant their vendors of what your looking for.

Look at Truxedo covers.

I saw one on a GMC today that just covered the center of the bed and the bed rails were exposed.
