I have a 2006 f150 5.4vl XLT && I had an issue where my battery light && ABS light would turn on && off, then eventually died. I replaced my alternator with a reman today && got a new battery. My battery light is still on. I disconnected the battery && drove for 15 minutes on highway && in town in hopes of resetting whatever needs to be reset. 13 minutes into my drive the ABS light came on && stayed on. No CEL while driving && when key is turned on the only lights are the battery && CEL. No ABS, it only comes on after driving for a bit. It is not driving rough, a little shakey but it also sat for 8 months. So to be expected that it’s rough. My battery gauge is reading perfect, starts && runs perfect besides the slight shaking. Any ideas of what I can do??

what brand alternator did you install? our trucks are very picky on the voltage regulators .. i suggest you return the no name alternator and buy and install a motorcraft re-man.
