My suggestions are use viair compressors only, the AccuAir manifold is good, and hard line everything. I would use another bag besides the ART such as an air lift or contitech or Firestone.

That sounds about right. They are all of those things. Good luck with option #2. Looking forward to it. You don't come across many slammed trucks on here.
Yea I've noticed there isn't many on here, try to change that one truck at a time.

I had to check again to make sure. But the bags I'm looking at getting (26c) are firestone. My buddy has accounts with shops/vendors that his friends own or work at, so I'll some discounts. Nothing that I put is set in stone. If advise and other info arise I'll check it out and adjust. I've been told by a few friends that swear by viair, that it's the best way to go.

Depend on what you wanna do.

Shockwave won't lay frame on stock 20" (32" tall tire)...cause stock control arm won't lay bigger then 29" tall tire. and even less will AirBar rear setup

I'm looking to lay my frame...but I'll go 100% custom.
Front: MMW raised arm, SS7 bag
Rear parallele 4link (to maintain stock tank), watts link, over axle SS8 bag (will still be towing.
All on 3/8 valve(8)(or manifold), 2x3g tank with dual 444 or 480 compressor and hard copper line(swagelock connector everywhere)
2x Dual needle guage +1 small single(tank), still need to decide if I go digital or not. Dont think I'll go for the leveler at the beginning.

that's what's I'm looking for.

but your setup can be completly different depending on your needed.

over axle bag doesn't ride as confy as over the bar(cantilever), but canti can't realy tow or haul a lot.

When I used to build mini trucks I loved my viairs. One thing I did was use copper line to hard line everything then I would move to a flexible hose just before the bags. Kinda like brakes.

There's no need to have flexible line to the bag since it's hard mount to the frame and didn't follow suspension mouvement like caliper does.
maybe it help with vibration, but useless IMO.

forgot to mentionL: I read a lot on streetsource forum and there's ton of info and superb project!

Over the axle will ride much better with a sleeve bag. I had OTA on a truck with contitech 2800's and the ride was terrible.

maxpat you just brought up a good point that I didn't think of..I didn't even think about having to relocate my tank. Does anyone have any info on this, if not I'll just call and find out.

just got up with ridetech..they claim I won't have to. anyone know how far from laying frame it will be when all the air is out. no point in putting bags on it if it won't lay all the way out, just my two cents.
