What is the best way to paint them the same color black as my truck? NO plasti dip. I want these a shiny black. Sand? What options do i have. has anyone else done these? Any pics?

I taped off the chrome and did three coats of krylon fusion satin on mine in red. They really stand out now. But if you want the same black as your truck and want to be sure it matches then get duplicolor paint that matches your paint code, self etching primer, and clear coat. I don't remember how much sanding but I know some is involved. Hopefully someone can answer the sanding part.

Debadging is more difficult because there are holes behind the badges. 2 on each side. I personally like the look of the chrome especially with a bright color for the letters. I went with the red to tie into the FX4 stickers. They really stand out and make a dramatic change

Same.. All black or one-color just makes it look like a blob. I've only seen a few people JUST do the indented letters.. Looks 30 times better.. Just looks too hard to tape off everything, especially the "Lariat 5.4L Triton"'s small *** letters.

Yeah, I started to do that.. The F-150 wasn't too hard.. Time consuming for sure.. then saw how long I took on the F-150 and came to the LARIAT 5.4L TRITON part and just ripped everything off.. Just leave it like it is, lol.
