Default bad acceleration and high rpms

im having a problem on my 04 f150 5.4 triton where i hit the gas and it revs up to 3k rpm and usually it doesnt go past 2.5k hitting it, it revs up real high and barely accelerates, i have true dual straights with no cats and it sounds different due to this issue, i changed all the spark plugs and nothing happened, i stalled one time the other day but other than that i have had no problem with stalling but that once,im throwing 0 codes and need help please help!

Sounds like maybe the trans is slipping. If you accelerate gently/ normally, what happens?

i thought the same thing initially but i know my truck really well and it sounds quieter than it usually does on start up and while driving, and it has dropped 60 miles in gas twice this week so im thinking its a fuel issue, maybe a clogged or bad fuel filter? and i stalled one time coming out the driveway and i dont think a bad transmission stalls it does it? idk im not so mechanically inclined , but i think its a fuel issue but im not getting a code at all so idk and when i accelerate slowly it still feels weird and hesitant but not as much as higher speeds

hard to even throw out a guess based on that info.
I personally have never had any improvement on any vehicle from changing fuel filter except my old bronco that had very fine rust in the tank from sitting a long time.
If I were to follow a couple of the clues though, I might be inclined to check out this video specifically the part about the number 7 check ball.
