Do you have insurance? If your ded. is $500 I would go through them yet pick a top notch shop. One claim won't raise the rates.

Yeah, you might find a shop to do it for a hair under that but it won't look factory. Find a good shop and claim it.

Well that's gonna cost way less than paying someone else to do it. No offense but to me that's a steep deductible.

Higher deductible makes your monthly payments less. You can have a $0 deductible if you want pay the premium up front.

You just make me remember I backuped up into a light pole no many weeks ago.... Lucky me, I hit it with the ball and the hitch, the light pole broke at the base plate and fall and my truck was harmless....
Ouch. Good luck with it, use the insurance, and find how much is to lower your deductible. Most times, is no that much.

The savings from 500 to 1000 is not that much. I would suggest $500.

If you don't want it to show up in the vehicle history your gonna have to pay out of pocket.... If you shop around and buy the parts IE bumper, bed, you could put it on yourself and pay to spray it.... Estimated cost will be 1400 - 2200 to restore it to a factory look... Now is a good time to consider a rollpan bumper or a new paint scheme, like removing the two tone and deleting your chrome...... Stay positive and you will be glad you hit the pole.
