I have a 2004 f150 4x4 the rubber boot split somehow and a friend of mine said that you can't replace the boot I have to replace the whole axle I replaced a axle before just not on this truck could someone send me a video on how to remove and install a new axle

 

you talking about your cv axles right? if so yeah you have to replace it. go ahead and get some heavy duty ones with a lifetime warranty. i know at least one company makes them

 

no need to replace the entire CV.
