I have an 08 Lariat. I wanted Bluetooth; aux in seems to be on almost all of current head ends.
I plugged an 04 F150 into Crutchfield's search; you can get the receiver, single DIN, for $35 ... add for mounting and wiring kits, should be under $100 total. Double DIN wasn't much more and fills the space without a filler.
You CAN get an adapter that has an FM signal from your phone's headphone out ... assuming your phone has one. Just set it to an unused frequency for your area.
