Ash Tray docking station!
So I got tired of having my iPhone cord hanging out of my glove box so I created a mounting station in the ashtray.. Turned out very well. Here's the link for the picture.. Feedback is appreciated. What's everyone think? Thanks! https://www.f150forum.com/members/fo...n/68666-image/

Used bondo so I could sand it to the shape I wanted. Drilled a hole in the bottom of the ashtray and a small hole through the plastic that holds the ash tray to get the clean look. (No cords exposed). So the cord could be run underneath and into the back of my pioneer avh 4400 headunit. I used a plastic iPod/iPhone mount that I had laying around and ran my USB cord and ran the tip about half way through. Gorilla glued that so it wouldn't move until the bondo would re enforce it.i damned the bondo off about halfway and drilled a small hole In the back of the ash tray for an led bulb that gave it a nice look at night. Sand and primer and paint black and there you have your clean looking iPod dock .
