Default Arp main stud 5.4L

Hi Folks,

I put ARP lubricant on the both sides of the stud screwed the studs finger tight only and then torqued down to 60 lbs in three equal steps, but some nuts (main cap 2, 3) are above the stud. I haven't torqued down the side bolts yet. Do they look ok?
Thanks

I talked to my local machine shop. They said the studs are supposed to be out of the nut 2 threads or so and I should have a minimum of 1.5 times the diameter of the stud for the engagement in the block. So I took some measurements. Am I doing right. I would appreciate your comments. Thanks.

read 34.70 mm before I screwed the stud in the block

15.70 mm after I screwed the stud in the block. I still have more threads to go in the block. 34.70 - 15.70= 19 mm which means stud got in the block 19 mm down that gives me more than 1.5 times of the stud diameter.

Screwed the nut finger tight didn't torqued down yet.

I ended up backing the studs and leaving the two threads above the nuts and torqued down the nuts. Everything looks fine. Some blocks were manufactured in sloppy way, but its ok if all the studs are not in the block evenly.
