I just moved here to Phoenix, AZ in about May and need to get AZ plates by the end of the year (I need to be a resident by then). My trucks catalytic converter went bad a couple years ago so i gutted them out and have been running a "straight pipe" on it since. I've been asking around and looks like they hook up the machine here to test emissions. If it was just a visual look I wouldn't be worried but if they hook up that machine I'm pretty sure I'm screwed. Any suggestions on what I can do or if anyone in the area has legal cats they can let me use for just the inspection? I have a 2004 F150 XLT 5.4L Ext Cab, Thanks.
