might be another dumb question, when you say plastic dip, is it a spray or liquid? How are you prepping the paint surface?

It comes in a spray can or brush on. I get mine at lowes by the spray paint. As for surface prep, make sure it's clean and you mask off where you don't want it. It's pretty simple. Stuff adheres pretty good.

I think it looks good! It may tie the grille in more if the heads and tails were black also...IMO that is

Any advice for repairs...my grill is dipped and after today ...changing my plugs, I scratched it with the belt buckle...I don't want to redo the whole thing....ugh

jus spot spray where u need to i have dont the same thing i took my truck thro the car wash to see what it would do an i had to touch up the wheels

I am one of those weirdos that hates chrome. I'd love to plastidip my chrome bumper. I already have a black grill and black rear bumper and black mirrors and door handles. The only thing that sticks out like a sore thumb is my HUGE chrome front bumper.

I did all the grey bottoms bumpers and rims. 4 cans on just the rims.
