Default Anyone hollowed out their cats?

So I want to hollow out my cats, but I've heard you need an aftermarket replacement ECM to permanently delete the O2 code and do any performance adjustments, I'm NOT talking about a flash programmer "edge, gryphon, superchips, or bullydog" so what I'm asking is does anyone know of a company that sells a aftermarket replacement ECM?

I'm pretty sure you actually can do that with a flash programmer by turning off specific 02 sensors. Most people just replace the cats with a piece of pipe instead of taking the time to hollow them out. Also have heard of using some kind of spark plug adapter on the 02's that makes them stick away farther from the pipe to trick the computer.

Why do you want to "hollow out" the cats?

Probably to pass inspection but, to make the truck louder, that's my guess.
