Anyone here running the SCT iTSX?

Looking at getting an SCT tuner for when my BDS lift and 35's go on next week. Was gunna go with the SF3 3015 to save some money, but I do like being able to see the live readings, and having them on my iPhone would be kind of cool I think. Anyone else running this setup? Does the bluetooth work well? Any issues? Is it worth the extra money over the SF3?

I have one and like it, it is pretty cool, especially the display where you change what you monitor. I use it with my iPhone or iPad. Bluetooth is kind of finicky to link it originally, or if it's been a while since you last used it. But once it's linked I've never had a problem. Might be more of an issue with me using Bluetooth with my stereo and they fight each other.

But yeah definitely cool, especially if you do want live readings like trans temp when towing and such.

Talk to Franchi (vendor here), he'll hook you up with a good deal.

Thanks man. Do you notice the battery getting drained quicker on your phone when using the bluetooth or no? I guess that's all I'm worried about.

Yes it will definitely drain the phone battery faster as the screen stays lit when watching the gauges using Bluetooth. So you will need to have a phone charger cord with you, if you are planning to use it for any length of time.

I've had the itsx on my truck for the past 8 months and I love it. You should defiantly talk to franchi about getting one he will hook you up. To me it is was worth the extra money I use it with my ipad and it does at times get alil messed up with linking through Bluetooth. But if you just follow the reset instructions it fixes the problem.

That's a pretty sweet setup there!

Using your 'phone (I-pad, whatever) while driving is why my last truck got destroyed, I got nine staples in my head, a cracked tibia and sprained ankle.

Keep it up.

I like my Livewire TS. Same thing as above, but hardwired in.http://www.focusst.org/forum/attachm...3-17.51.37.jpg
